I’ll keep this short like the last few posts. DRM Sucks.
^That could’ve been the entire post. Really, it does suck. We trust the publishers with our money, why can’t we be trusted with the licensed content? People who don’t pay a dime for content are already stealing it, shouldn’t paying customers be respected? I trust publishers in every form of media with my money. I’m sure that EA or the Baker Publishing Group wouldn’t accept payment for their products in Bed, Bath & Beyond gift cards so why limit my purchases? I wish that I could limit how and where they could spend my money.
^See how ridiculous that sounds? That’s what drm is. Something simple is controlled for no good reason while those that don’t follow the rules get what the spenders should have received in the first place.
