This one is reblogged purely for my handheld brethren. Protect your investments, don’t let your 3DS XL‘s go to waste!
Apparently, some Nintendo 3DS owners are experiencing issues with their system after performing the latest system update. If you can no longer access the Nintendo eShop and System Settings due to the latest system update, Nintendo says to try these three steps:
- Power the system off.
- Press the power button, then immediately press and hold down the L button, R button, A button, and Up on the +Control Pad. Keep holding down the buttons until the system update screen is displayed.
- Tap OK on the system update screen.
If the situation remains unresolved, call Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700.
“The storyline is based on EO1, but there are a ton of changes. The story starts with the main character running into a mysterious girl. The main character is a young man from the Highlands, doing some job for the guild office in Etria, and the girl he runs into is Frederica Irving, who appears to have lost her memory. Her character design has her holding a gun too.
So yeah, an EO1 remake with named characters, voice acting, and more focus on plot. Did anyone really ask for this? It’s… somewhat interesting though I must say. It also means you no longer create classes for your party too, since all the party members are actual characters who have their own fixed classes. Hmm…”
I’m looking forward to this in the same way that every worker looks forward to a paid day off. It just can’t come soon enough, hurry Atlus! I do hope that there is a mode to play the original game, it would be the best compromise between androgogical storytelling and pedagogical storytelling in video games.
The latest edition of Famitsu has revealed that Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS. The game will be a remake of the original Etrian Odyssey and will include a expanded storyline and voice acting. The game will launch in Japan on June 27th, and will retail for 6279 Yen.
